Stand Restaurant

In 2008 and 2010 he won the most prestigious Hungarian hot kitchen chef competition, Tradition and Evolution. In 2011, Onyx Restaurant was recognized with a Michelin star as the second restaurant in the country, but it is the first restaurant to achieve this result under the leadership of Hungarian chefs.

In March 2012, he represented Hungary at the European final of Bocuse d'Or, one of the world's most prestigious chef competitions. His preparation was assisted by Geir Skeie, the 2009 winner. He finished 9th out of 19 runners, becoming the first person from Hungary to reach the final of the Bocuse d'Or (the top 12 qualify). The final was held on 29–30 January 2013 in Lyon, Lyon on the second day and finished 10th out of 24 runners.

 

On 11 May 2016, he won the European final of Bocuse d'Or, held in Budapest. On 25 January 2017, at the final of the Bocuse d'Or in Lyon, he took 4th place and the special prize for the best meat dish.

 

In February 2017, together with Szabina Szulló, they opened their own bistro called Stand25 in the Hold Street market.

 

Their fine dining restaurant, Stand, opened in July 2018, was awarded a Michelin star in March 2019 and a second star in 2022.
